Who we are

Founded: October 2024

Jaociety, which means the Jamaican Anime Society, started from a desire to experience traditional Japanese festivals. We have always been drawn to the numerous enjoyable summer festivals featured in the anime we watch and have often wondered what it would be like to experience an event similar to them.

We decided to bring something different to the current Jamaica Anime Community and add experience. We aim to create a magical and memorable event that provides our patrons with a fan experience comparable to that of other major anime conventions abroad.

We follow the Japanese Concept of Kaizen, which teaches us to let go of perfection and continuously improve ourselves through small, continuous, positive changes. It is our passion to create and host amazing events, and we made it our purpose to bring our visions to life. We strive to improve each time we get a festival to life continually.
